When a seeker is ready to formally begin the spiritual path.
Significance
Deeksha is the sacred moment of initiation, in which a seeker dedicates themselves to the Divine and to the guidance of the Guru, and receives the Gayatri Mantra as a lifelong companion on the path.
It is not a ritual of dependence but of awakening โ the disciple takes up daily sadhana and self-discipline, and the divine guidance illumines the way forward.
