Significance
Rudrabhishek is the devotional abhishek (ceremonial bathing) of the Shivling with water, milk, honey and other sacred offerings, accompanied by the chanting of the Rudram from the Yajurveda.
It is among the most beloved Shaiva ceremonies, performed to invoke the grace of Lord Shiva โ for peace of mind, good health, harmony in the family, and the removal of obstacles and afflictions.
